Daycare and Preschool art classes focus on both the joyful process of art making and the exciting discovery of learning about our world through age appropriate art lessons. Kids will explore the fun world of combining materials like fabric, textural materials, graphics and found objects into a variety of mixed media projects. Kids will learn all about different techniques and tools while engaging in child-centered, process oriented projects. Projects include: collage, assemblage and sculpture and painting. Kids will learn all about artists, cultures, the world and themselves while creating both 2-D and 3-D projects.
Color, design, tools and techniques will be introduced through painting, drawings, prints, clay and mixed media projects.
Classes begin with storytelling, props and pictures; stimulating the creativity of your young artists’ imaginations followed by hands on art projects. Every child will be proud to bring their masterpiece home!
You can register your daycare or preschool anytime of the year.
CLASS DATES AND TIMES:
You have the option of registering for every week, every other week, or once a month. Please contact me to arrange a day and time.
FEES:
$100.00 for a 45 min. class for a group of up to 8 kids. Materials, prep time, travel and instruction are all included with class fee.
Payment is accepted through cash, check, venmo or chase quickpay. Monthly payment is due by the first class of each month.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES FOR KIDS!
Kids have a fun filled time celebrating and making Art!
Here’s the Deal:
We supply all Art Supplies
You supply all decorations and/or food and utensils.
6-8 kids, 1-3 adults
One and 1/2 hr. party time, plus doors are open 15 minutes prior to party for set up.
Dates and times are flexible
$35.00 per child
Painting themes: you choose, we choose or we choose together
Art projects: you choose: painting, craft or clay
$50.00 deposit fee required to hold date and time. Your deposit will be applied to the balance of your event invoice. Deposit is non-refundable if event is canceled 24 hours prior to party.

Open communication between teacher and parent is essential to a child’s well being. Please inform me of any changes or disturbances that may affect your child’s behavior. Parents will be informed of any child related issues regarding their child while in my care.
SD Studios provides a very customized curriculum. Students work at their own pace in the class. Our class size is small to allow the instructor to pay attention to all.
A student can join our class any time of the year, fees will be prorated.
All parents must sign the registration form and turn it in along with the $25.00 deposit before the first day of class.
Attendance and Makeup:
Students are expected to attend the classes regularly. Please call, text or email if your child will be absent for any reason. Regardless of reason for absence, fees will apply, but the student is welcome to make that class up.
Any classes cancelled by the studio will be made up or fees for that class will be credited accordingly.
Drop off and Pick up:
Drop off:
Doors will be open. The studio is located on the 2nd floor. Parents may walk their children up until the child is comfortable to walk upstairs on his/her own. Afterwards, parents can drop off in the front and kids can come up independently.
Pick up:
Parents please pull up to the curb and/or text me at: 708-908-0057 when you arrive and I will send your child down the front stairs to meet you outside. Your child will not leave the studio until I know you are out front.
SD Studios is not be responsible for kids inside or outside of their lesson time. It is recommended that drop off and pickup be within 5 minutes of the class start and end.

Parent Responsibilities
Please Keep your children home if she or she or he has:
A fever of 100 degrees within the past 24 hours
Diarrhea or vomiting within the past 24 hours
A rash or blistering
Persistent cough
Conjunctivitis (pink eye)
Any contagious illness.
Head lice: If your child has head lice, please keep him/her home for the duration and afterwards keep long hair up in tight braids, a ponytail or in a hat for 2 weeks. When head lice are present on any child, I inform all parents and ask that hats or scarves are sent with their child to prevent an outbreak.
Although safety is priority and your children are cared for with attentive supervision, accidents may occur. S.D. Studios is not responsible for any accidents that may occur while your child is in my care or during transportation to or from S.D. Studios.
If I am unable to work, because of a sickness or family emergency, you will be notified immediately and you will be charged. If I take a day off for any other reason, I will either cancel or hire a substitute.
If District 97 is closed due to severe weather, S.D. Studios will be closed as well and fees will still apply. Children who miss class because of this are welcome to make the class up.
